Foe me, i have to put the nozzle through the cover firat, plug the vehiclle in then push the plate into place. Once in place it works perfectly! There were no other alternatives on the market for a port cover that worked for a car does not have a magnetic body. So happy with this find! Also, my charger has be finicky all along, so it could be that too.
