As the first excitement about the new car started to fade, I looked at my new car at a different angle. Coming from a 2015 Toyota Sienna with too much storage compartments I was a bit disappointed with lack of thereof in the ID.4 I wondered if I could do something about the void between the floor and the central console. After many hours of printing fit-test prototyped the new thing was born. The central console storage tray! This was in May 2021. Since then it was sold more than 1500 times just on my Etsy store.
